Classic craftsmanship. Modern systems. Better results.
You've called three contractors already. None of them called back. Your job's probably too small for them. It's not too small for us.
Handled with the same rigor you'd expect from a much larger job, because small jobs are actually our business.
Most contractors have a minimum job size, and it's not your dripping faucet or the drywall patch that's been on your list for months. Those jobs either don't get done, or you end up doing them yourself, squeezed in on a Sunday without the time or experience to do it right. FixItRick was founded by Rick, a Dublin resident who spent nearly thirty years solving complex operational problems and just as long doing hands-on home repair as a second, equally serious pursuit. That combination is rare. The hands working in your home never settle for 'that'll probably do.'
Rick is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, trained to find every point where a process breaks down before it actually breaks down. That's not a typical handyman credential, and it shows in how we work and how the business is run: an accurate assessment before anything is committed to, a written estimate before work begins, automated confirmations and reminders along the way, and a clear invoice the moment the job is done, not a handwritten slip that goes missing. We follow up afterward too, because a job isn't finished just because we've left the house.
We've called Dublin home for more than ten years, and we take on fewer jobs than we could so that every one gets our full attention. That's the trade we've made: less volume, more certainty. If we take it on, it gets done right.
Every job runs through the same real system behind the scenes, from written estimate to final follow-up, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Done thoroughly, done once, and done to a standard that holds. The list of deferred repairs that grows faster than it shrinks? That's what we're here for.
FixItRick focuses on repair, maintenance, and small improvement projects. Large renovations, major electrical or plumbing work, structural modifications, and permit-required projects are outside our scope.
Doors that bind or fail to latch, trim and molding repairs, cabinet adjustments, shelving installation, and finish carpentry and trim work.
Patches, cracks, and surface damage repaired and finished to match, including paint. Targeted repairs, not full-room repaints.
Gutter reattachment, perimeter caulking, and weather sealing at doors, windows, and penetrations. Also exterior trim repair and minor exterior wood repair.
Faucet and toilet repairs, garbage disposal replacement, minor fixture and outlet replacement, ceiling fan replacement, and other basic household repairs.
Dishwashers, microwaves, ranges, and other household appliances installed correctly and safely, with existing connections inspected as part of the job. Also troubleshooting and repair for appliances that are already in place.
Unsure whether your job is a fit? Reach out and describe it. We'll give you a straightforward answer.
We evaluate the job thoroughly and give you a clear picture of what's needed, what it will cost, and how long it will take, before anything begins.
When we confirm a time, we're there. If circumstances change, you'll hear from us well in advance, not at the moment of the appointment.
We work methodically and clean up thoroughly. Your home is returned to order when we leave, not left for you to sort out.
If a focused repair is the right solution, that's what we'll recommend. We don't expand scope beyond what the job requires.
Use the contact form or call. Describe the repair and share a general sense of your availability.
We'll respond within 24 hours, ask any clarifying questions, and provide an initial cost estimate.
We schedule an evening or weekend appointment that works for your calendar. No long wait lists, no vague windows. You'll get an automatic email confirmation and a reminder before we show up, so you don't need to chase us down to double-check the date.
We complete the work, walk you through what was done, and make sure the result meets your expectations before we leave.
Use the form to describe your project and we'll be in touch within 24 hours. Prefer a direct conversation? Call anytime.
